Hello parents and students.  Today was a busy day that consisted of hard work.  Thank you for all of your hard work in and outside of the classroom.

We covered the following concepts today:

-Mock provincial written response.
-Read "The Shivering Tree" by John McLeod (we will discuss this tomorrow)

Homework: please finish reading the story if you did not complete it in class, please finish your "Nature of Animals" assignment for hand in tomorrow.

1. Roles of First Nations Women in the Fur Trade
2. Continued with Note Taking
3. Wrote a written response from the point of view of a First Nations woman in the fur trade.

Homework: no homework tonight

Social Studies 10
- continued to review the 6 factors leading to Confederation
- Confederation Playing Cards

Homework: read the rest of chapter two and review your notes
