Hello parents and students. Happy early Friday. I hope that you all enjoy your extended weekend! I will be working hard to prepare some fun learning activities for next week during our professional day on Friday.
In class today we covered the following topics:
First Nations 12
-Devastation by
Disease
-We graphed the impact of iron, guns, disease
-Students were given time to finish up their note taking sheet (we will have a chapter 4 quiz on Tuesday) you will hand in your note taking sheet before you take your quiz( 10 marks)
Homework: study your chapter 4 notes
English 11
Worked on "The Shivering Tree" assignment
Social Studies 10
- we worked on our Father's of Confederation identity cards (you will present yourself and your card on Monday)
Homework: start reviewing your notes from chapter 2 and finish reading chapter 2(only the confederation portion of your text)
