Hello parents and students.  Today we covered the following concepts:

English 11
- Work day (students had the opportunity to catch up on upcoming assignments)
Assignments that we worked on: "The Nature of Animals" due tomorrow, Career Research Assignment, First Nations Multi-Paragraph.

Homework: finish your Nature of Animals

First Nations 12
-We compared the maritime fur trade to the land based fur trade
-we looked at the similarities and differences between the two by creating a venn-diagram
-students were given time to work on their formatted chapter 4 notes
-unit 1 tests were handed back- everyone passed and did a great job, thank you for studying.

Social Studies 10
-Chapter 1 quiz
-We looked at the factors leading to Confederation (wrote some notes)

Homework: continue to read the rest of chapter 2
