Hello parents and students. We have less then two weeks left to go in semester 1. It is important that you hand in any outstanding assignments before Jan 31, 2014. We have started preparing for our final exams. All this week we will be completing review and discussing the things that could show up on the final exam. Today in class we will continue to finish our review on the Metis + First Nation stereotypes
English 11
Reviewed the how to plan for a multi paragraph and a thesis formula (thesis statement = the topic + your opinion)
- planned and prepped for possible multi-paragraph questions

Social Studies 10
-Yesterday in SS 10 we reviewed Chapter 2 that looks at "Building a Nation" (Confederation)
Today we will be reviewing Chapter 3- Geography
Big ideas include- Physiographic Regions, Lines of Lat/Long, climate graphs
Homework- each chapter review sheet is worth 10 marks = a total of 6 marks (we completed 6 chapters)
